Summer is coming to an end and so is the slow season. We had about 4 weeks off because the weather was out of control hot, but now we are back in business! During our time off, mother nature was in a terrible mood. First, we experienced an earthquake here on the east coast. If I recall correctly, it was a 5.9 & the epicenter was in VA, approximately 120 miles from where I live. I have never experienced an earthquake, so that definitely took me by surprise. Then, once I started to get my equilibrium back on track, a hurricane comes ripping up the east coast. Due to Ms. Irene, the entire coast was in a panic and for good reason. Our EXPO in Wildwood, NJ was cancelled, so I was able to prepare for the storm....

After all the weather hoop-lah was over, it was time to get back to work. We just returned from Chicago for the Chicago Half Marathon & 5k EXPO. I have to say, I really enjoyed Chicago! What a cool city. The EXPO was at the Navy Pier, right on Lake Michigan. We had a great turn out and met a lot of new people. Unfortunately, since I was working most of the time I was unable to check out the city scene; however, from what I did see and do it was really fun. The people, the energy, and not to mention the food, was super exciting and I will look forward to checking out Chicago again in the future! This week we head to Tacoma, WA. It is our first time hitting the west coast so I am looking forward to spreading the good word about our awesome sports bra. It will be my first trip without the husband, and of course it is across the nation... But I am sure I will do just fine. Anyway, until then...
